July 3rd, 2010. One Vibe. One Sound.
We left the waves alone this weekend as we traveled to San Jose for the best Reggae concert of the year. Rising Sound and Heineken Music put together one of the best Reggae Shows ever in "Rasta Rica". The event lasted way over 10 hours. The ambience was full of positive vibes and Irie feeling. People from all over the country and even Panama, made the trip to Plaza Real Cariari to enjoy the performances of the famous jamaican bands.
One of the coolest aspects about the Irie Fest 2010, was that every single artist brought their own band. Pressure and Richie Spice warmed up the crowd during the day time. When the night came upon us, it was the turn for the former voice of Black Uhuru, Mykal Rose, to run the show. At the end of the night, Jah Cure simply stole the show and turned it into a chant along with all the fans. What a night.
